微軟于美國時間8日凌晨宣布，Windows Vista已經(jīng)RTM（released to manufacturing）。Vista標(biāo)志著五年來微軟在操作系統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域的又一大進(jìn)化。

微軟承諾Vista將通過改進(jìn)的防火墻、Windows Defender和User Account Control增強(qiáng)安全性能。其他新功能包括整合桌面搜索，IE 7，Windows Sidebar， Windows Sideshow，內(nèi)置的系統(tǒng)診斷，改進(jìn)的游戲支持，完全集成的語音識別，另外還支持Windows SuperFetch，Windows ReadyBoost和Windows ReadyDrive。

Windows將推出以下4種不同的零售版本：

Windows Vista Home Basic， $199/$99.95 (后一個價格為升級版，下同)

為家庭用戶提供一個收發(fā)Email、上網(wǎng)的基本平臺。提供Vista新的搜索瀏覽器、Sidebar和父母控制功能。

Windows Vista Home Premium， $239/$159

在Home Basic的基礎(chǔ)上增加了Windows Aero界面、Windows Media Center功能、Windows Tablet PC技術(shù)并整合DVD刻錄功能。

Windows Vista Business， $299/$199

支持Aero用戶界面，提供改進(jìn)的文檔管理和Windows Tablet PC功能。

Windows Vista Ultimate， $399/$259

整合Vista Home Premium和Vista Business的所有功能。

Neowin網(wǎng)站表示，Vista RTM版本將在10月10日后向MSDN訂戶發(fā)放，而商業(yè)用于將從11月30日開始獲得拷貝。Vista將在2007年1月30日正式登上貨架。
